Firstly, I am very disappointed with Flipkart for showing wrong information that Flip cover was free with this phone. However Samsung website said offer had ended. I felt that this phone makes me complete. I have everything I need from gadgets in one device. It is really not that bulky to carry it in pocket unless you wear skin tight pants. It might be weird in beginning to use this camera designed device as phone, but eventually we get used to it. Overall, its a very satisfying, eye catching useful device with great performance. Pros of Camphone - 1. Camera takes very high quality videos, 2. Xenon Flash is so bright that the background in the picture taken in pitch dark is clearly visible, 3. The flash lasts only milliseconds that human eyes can tolerate the sudden bright flash light without forcing the person to close the eyes and it takes the picture perfectly in that milliseconds duration. 3. Photo clarity is quite satisfying even in low light conditions without flash, 4. Phone works smooth and fast without any lags even when multitasking with several apps running in parallel. 5. Amazing battery life especially under super save mode - with basic use like calling, messaging, Facebook, chatting etc it lasts for 35-40 hours. I had taken this on my last foreign trip. I was able to take many pictures and videos and also use basic features for whole day. This is the first smartphone that I have seen with such a good battery life. 6. Bulky camera on the rear actually turned out to be advantageous for me. I hold the phone resting the bulk lens part on my forefingers and use the free thumb on touchscreen. The bulk lens part can also be used as stand to place it slant on desk to watch videos. 7. All S4 camera features including drama shot, sound shot, continuous shot etc are present in this device. Group play, Air gesture and other new S4 features are present in this device also. 8. It has got every smartphone features like NFC, Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, 3G, 3.5G, 4G LTE, DLNA, IR Blaster etc with latest Android Jelly Bean OS. 9. Use phone as Remote control using IR port and Samsung WatchOn App, worked smoothly with old CRT TV. Cons - 1. Videos and pictures are noisy when zoomed beyond 7.9x. It doesn't take smooth good quality photos when completely zoomed. 2. The zoom is stepwise. I was expecting a smooth zoom where I can zoom and halt at any point. The steps taken are 1.2X, 1.4X, 1.6X, 1.8X, 2.2X, 3.1X, 4.2X, 5.6X, 7.9X, 10.0X. It is impossible to stop at any other intermediary zoom positions. 3. Cannot zoom in Panorama mode unlike in Sony / Fuji film. 4. There is no flash (flash option disabled) in Samsung's Smart modes. I have to switch to expert manual mode or auto mode to use flash, 5. Flashlight cannot be used as Torch using Android Flashlight apps. 6. The notification light is either absent or doesn't work in my device, 7. Sometimes the camera lens part gets jammed with pant pocket while taking out the phone while still sitting. 8. Zoom noise is still captured while recording video even with Quiet zoom turned on in settings. I haven't seen any camera with optical zoom that filters zoom sound completely. 9. No FM

I purchased this Phone on Feb 1st 2014 from Samsung store for 30K. I also got One Flip Case which also have cover for camera lens. Sennheiser HeadPhones, 16GB samsung micro SD card. 50 GB of Drop box. all worth around 5K. So my total cost came down to 25K. I have seen lot of 1 star ratings on this Phone. Yes I agree that the phone look odd when you speak to some one from it. The camera lens behind it looks bulky and also phone is heavier than normal slim smart phones of its class. However, if you compromise for those things then you are getting a handy phone with good phone features and a very good in fact excellent Camera. No Phone in this world has 10X Optical Zoom (Emphasizing on Optical Zoom). Sensors are almost same in all the phones of their respective classes. Picture taken at 10X optical zoom is as clear as the picture taken without zoom in Sunlight. You don't have to carry a separate DSLR camera if you go out for touring. You'll get excellent pictures with this phone. Cons: Internal memory is only 8GB can be better. If it had 16GB then it would have been excellent. Please read this review and make your decision and don't go by the review of 1 star reviews who are criticizing the makers of this phone. They are giving their best shot to satisfy their customer base. Please stop criticizing Phone makers and make your own decisions. Do not mislead Customers. You can also wait for some more time to get Samsung Galaxy K Zoom which has excellent features and yet it is sleek in design. I bet in next 2 or 3 years people will forget about buying cameras and go with these Phone/Cameras. Of course professional photographers can ignore this review ;-) People who are seriously thinking about buying this products please read my review and make your decision. Flipkart selling this phone for such a discounted prize please don't lose this opportunity. In fact it is worth buying this phone for 16499/-

Awesome Product, yes i agree when you speak over the phone, the people standing in front of you look at you with a question mark. (coz back of the phone looks likes a point and shoot camera). 16 Megs, 10x optical zoom with S4 Mini capabilities - Merged together. Its a must device for anybody who carries a phone and a digital camera for outing, parties, get together. It comes with awesome preloaded features check this link on the product page. Simply awesome PHOTOGRAPHIC PHONE best then whats available in the market for much higher price.

Take a 10k camera, put android on it, name it GALAXY S4 (something) and whoosh people will buy that crap for 30k.... If you have even 1 thought of getting it as a camera better get a SLR... SLR will have at-least 8 times big sensor (for nearly same price)... A key factor which affects quality of a camera.. One more point this is not at all a phone just look at the dimensions and weight of this phone... Best alternatives- Nokia 808 (biggest sensor on smart phone, nearly 4 times of s4 zoom) Nokia 1020 (slaightly smaller than 808) Sony Xperia z1 (same sensor size as of s4 zoom)

I love this one. i bought this in the month of Jan 2014 and never felt bad about the product. Yes it is bulky but it reminds me always that i had something in my hand. Camera is excellent. S4 and with the same features of camera which is costing 65K. But i got this for 30K only and im a happy user.

The camera is good there is nothing to write about it since others have already done it, but just imagine ridiculous device that looks like this and when we making phone calls out of this will make the user look lame and stupid its more of a camera less of a phone they should have made the device more slick like nokia 1020, instead they made this half of a device which is a jack of all trades master of none. Which will best be suited in hands of Tourists or will make do for ppl who are not able to afford a Dslr.

The main reason one is going to buy this phone is because of it's camera related features and i personally believe this is arguably one of the best camera phone available in the market. But what i have found is that 95% of time people are saying is that this is a bulky phone & I agree with that. But the fact is that you are getting a decent camera with optical zoom & Xenon Flash present all time in your pocket which makes up for everything. Also other highlights of this phone are a modest 2330mAh battery, decent music player, AMOLED display, IR blaster etc etc. The main reason i find Samsung Galaxy Series better than others is because the way Samsung customizes their phones and the extra features that they add (i.e. Smart stay, Smart pause etc)... So at the end you are getting more than what you could expect & for about 20k it's worth it. And also one more thing I feel is that it's much better than Galaxy K Zoom which may be more powerful but in my view has less features and comfort than S4 Zoom.

I bought it mainly as camera for my son who is a budding photographer.I expected the camera to be concealed better but I was surprised at how bulky the thing really is.On the face it's a normal phone but moment u turn it over u realise that it's also a camera.Wonderful picture quality.All in all quite similar to the galaxy camera.

I gave it a four star bcoz I got it for 24k. Camera is superb. Excellent picture details. The phone is okay. Only problem is that the phone tends to heat up when the camera is used a lot
