For the first-timers: 1. You need to drill small holes on top of the cartridge and inject ink into the sponge that is inside the cartridge. 2. use a 1mm drill bit (or get it drilled from somewhere) to drill holes just where the fill holes are located. You can remove the sticker on the top to reveal the fill holes. In the colour cartridge, the north has magenta, the left has cyan and the right has blue. Poke the sponge inside with toothpicks to see what colour is where. 3. Buy separate syringes for each colour, fill them up to 3-4 ml and inject them to their respective slots. 4. Run three or four cleaning cycles and your cartridges should be good to go. Ignore low ink warning. I have a Canon Pixma E560 with 99 and 89 cartridges. The colour is close to that of the original. I have already done 4 refillings and it is going great so far.
