Review after 3 months of use. Nice balanced badminton. Good for beginners and intermediates. Nice smashes and defences. Hits are powerful. Havent found any cons yet. Would update is found so.

If you are aggressive player who focusses on smashes more then this is the racquet to get, ideal would be voltric 80 but that is only if price is not the concern. There is not much difference between voltric 5 and 7 except that 7 is lighter. 5 is more head heavy than 7. Other than that there is no solid reason to buy one over the other. I bought 5 because it was available at the time and cheaper. Read paul stewart's review of both 5 and 7. I see flipkart raised the price of the racquet after i bought it, lucky me!

This racket is a delight to handle. It's head heavy construction makes it great for offensive style of play and it's lightening fast. The smashes pack a great deal of punch (really good I must say) and maneuverability for defense is brilliant (picking up fast smashes is just a flick of the wrist away). This racket is very light weight and for people considering to buy this who haven't had the opportunity to test it just yet, don't get confused by 'head heavy' and other terms when you read the reviews. The difference in balance is practically nothing. Before buying, I tested this racket against Arcsaber 002, VT 7, VT 9, MP 22, MP 29 et al and picked this one up as it felt & performed the best for me. I'm glad to say that I finally found the perfect racket :) I'd recommend that you go to a big sports shop (the ones which have a badminton court in the facility) and test out the rackets for yourself and make a decision. The purchasing can be done from Flipkart or any other online retailer which gives you a good discount. Personally speaking, the place I buy the rackets from gives me ~40-45% off so I prefer to pick up my rackets from there. Hope this was helpful. Keep playing & stay healthy :)
