Well i have purchased 2 of these headphones based on the reviews i have seen. Both headphones i have gifted to near ones and they are really happy. Its good in quality as per the pricing. Please do not forget to BURN your headphones prior using it. This increases the sound to make it capable of both high and low pitch.

Philips has brought these headphones out at a very affordable price. Completely satisfied with the buy. Lets breakdown the review into sections :- 1. Design - The design is really nice. The earphones are compact and made of sturdy plastic. The padding is made up of silicone. The wires are rubberised and non-tangible. The jack looks solid with a great plastic covering. Very lightweight. 2. Comfort - The headphones are comfortable to wear. No earlobe stress even after hours of wearing them. The wires don't trouble u. A slightly annoying thing was that the package contained 2 different sized pads -small and large. But they came as a single unit and not a pair. That means just 1 small pad and 1 large pad. 3. Performance - Now comes the section which determines whether to go for the product. My recommendation is to buy these wonderful eargasmic candies! :) The bass is really great. Perfect thumps, but doesn’t bleed to mids or highs. The driver units are dynamic in nature. So they need some time to open up. [I will tell u how to optimise bass and make it deeper.] Great mids, really warm vocals with nice soundstage and atmosphere. Good highs, doesn't make that sharp shrill treble that tears the eardrums :) Bass - 5/5 Mids - 5/5 Highs - 5/5 Now talking about how to optimise bass, it can be done by 2 ways :- (a) The preliminary way includes to let ur earphones undergo a burn-in period. That means to play the kind of music u like at a slightly higher volume that u normally are comfortable at and let it keep playing for 15 hours constantly. This opens up the driver diaphragm and the coil which makes the bass become more deep and punchy. (b) To make things simple, I take an example of a 5 band equaliser -keep the 31 Hz knob at full (that is ur bass). 125Hz at around 7.1db (that is ur low or sub bass). 1Khz at 4db (that is ur mid range). 8Khz at 4-5db (that is ur highs) and finally 16Khz at 9db (that is ur treble).
