I got this mainly for playing music in car stereo player which doesnt have aux and bluetooth(Yeah am a proud fiat owner). Got this one for 500 bucks in ebay. This is better than the VeeDee ones that receives bluetooth music and sends to aux port. This device once plugged in to USB port, will show 3 mp3 files. According to the player/speaker its just a USB with 3 files in it. But internally this lil guy receives the bluetooth audio and keeps writing to the mp3 file. so watever you play from your phone is written into the mp3 buffer which the player plays via USB. Its a good technical gadget. I connected this to my Creative 2.1 usb speaker. Initially there was a humming noise. But once i started playing music in my phone, the music is as clear as I play from a USB Stick/Aux. But in between songs, a slight humming noise. Now take this device to my car, plug it in, there is no noise at all. I play the music it plays crystal clear. Happy customer am I... Not really. There was a catch... As I explained, this device writes into buffer which is read by player. My Fiat-Blaupnkt player being USB2.0 guy, i get a lag in the music. Which means, when I press next in mobile, after 2 seconds, the I hear the song changing in car. But thats not really a problem for me. I adore this device because when I can change the song in my Steering Control, the song changes in my mobile. The same with my creative. I change it in remote, the song changes in mobile. Pros: 1. The bluetooth audio is converted to digital file and fed to player in digital format. No analog conversion here(BT to aux conversion) 2. Spend 500 bucks and convert your USB speaker/Car stereo to BT speaker. Cons" 1. In USB2.0 players, there is a 2 to 3 seconds lag between whats played an whats heard. 2. In USB3.0 players, there is some noise when the song is not playing (Paused/Next-ed) 3. You will not get 5.1 output. Even if you play a dts(5.1) file in your phone, its converted to 2.1 mp3 format.

Advantages: *Connects to any music system which has a usb port in it. *Can be conected to your car. *Range of upto 10m. *Easy to connect and use. Dis-advantages: *Only plays music. *Mobile calls does not connect to it. *Audios are late by 2 seconds.

Bought it for my car, works well... occasional delay when switching songs. Audio quality bit degraded in comparison to direct USB play. Overall satisfied.
