    A steal at this price!

Been using it from 5 months and this phone is quite good to have and this price is crazy! Pros: + A very capable, flagship device (needn't mention the features/specs) + Premium and durable build (plastic, but good. And waterproof!) + At a very very good price + Good looks, KitKat ui and touch wiz is quite better on this phone. + Classy black shade given to android (newer devices/android versions have nothing better and the use of white everywhere annoys me so much!) Cons: - I don't like the 5' size (a phone, for me, has to be easy to use with one hand.) - future updates (which you will definitely get, as I have it on android 6.0.1) kinda not meant for this device wholly, KitKat with those black backgrounds was quite good! That's it! Go for it if you have a budget of 15k, easily the best phone in practical use! And Thanks for reading my review!

Hopeless phone! No 4G on Rs. 50,000 Mobile. Shame.

Disclaimer: I brought this phone as I am a developer and geek. Main Pros: - Slightly Bigger screen and battery. - Fingerprint scanner. (Not as good as on iPhone 5S) - IP67 Certified - dust and water resistant. - USB 3.0 port. (BUT, No USB 3 Cable in the box!!!) - User replaceable battery. - Micso SD slot. - Better camera at 16 MP. (But does not have OIS) - A lot of sensors like Heart rate sensor, Smart Stay, Smart Scroll, Air View, Air Gestures, IR remote, etc (But lacks Temperature and Humidity sensor this time) Main Cons: - Lacks LTE (4G) (As on iPhone 5S and 5C and LG G2 LTE) - Lacks OIS (Optical Image Stabiliser) (As on LG G2, Nexus 5) - Lacks FM Radio (As on most other flagship phone of different companies) - Lacks Snapdragon Processor (As on all other flagship phones, and even on International version of S5 and Note 3) - Lacks 3GB RAM (As on Note 3, Sony, LG flagship phones) - Lacks Temperature/Humidity Sensor (As on S4 & Note 3) - Lacks USB 3.0 CABLE (As we got in Note 3) This phone is not at all worth the price. Correct price should have been around 30 K)

    Perfect product!

Awesome experience with this purchase. I got this phone @13,999 on a grand event slashed price. Flipkart did deliver it in just 2.5 days to me!!! Every one knows due to extra features and costumization Samsung provides, it has some lagy operations at times but come on guys its the S series and it has all the potential..you just need to explore those extra features which are unique in its class like Air gestures, IR controls, heartbeat sensors, calories calculations, AMOLED crisp display, Photo studio, 4K videos, 60fps recordings, water proof, wireless charging and a lot more... Front cam is a bit dissapointing (Coz of small pixels sensor 2MP) at times but it takes stunning pics in good lighting conditions. One thing here to notice is, it has got two OS upgrades which is 5.1 and then 6.01 over the original Kitkat 4.4 which is like loading it thrice of its capcity. It consumed almost 2.5Gb to digest all the upgrades however it made it a bit slow..so I cracked its root access and got an Edge 7 OS (Costomized as Wanted ROM) which is Marshmallow loaded onto it. And let me tell you now that its running blazzing fast now its cam is faster than ever and all the apps are now working butter smooth.. It also got a lot of new features which is fantastic in its class. It gives me a feel of Galaxy S7 edge. So think if you can go that way :p Or if dont wanna do that keep internal space empty and keep only important apps installed so thay you can get max output. Thanks

    No snapdragon processor.

Samsung still cheating Indian customers by selling the exynos based phone. Dont buy it. Better go for the galaxy s4 which has almost same spec. Finger print scanner is a crap.

guys please consider xperia z2 over galaxy s5

following are the benefits of xperia z2 over galaxy s5 1) Better Processor (snapdragon 801 vs exynos) snapdragron 801 has about 30% better graphics processing power than this exynos in s5 2) Better Ram (3gb vs galaxy s5 2gb) 3) Better screen(IPS PANEL of z2 which produces better color gamut than amoled of s5...amoled is just oversaturated non-natural looking colors) 4) Better Camera with better low light images. 5) Better Water resistance (xperia z2 is IP58 and galaxy s5 is IP67.......the first digit in IP represents dust resistance and second digit represents water resistance.....which means xperia z2 for water resistance is 8 vs s5 7 rating....but galaxy s5 has better rating for dustproof) 6)Xperia z2 has bigger battery 3200 mAH vs s5's 2800 mAH. 7) Much better build quality of aluminium frame and glass than the cheap looking plastic of galaxy s5. 8)xperia z2 has better speakers with s-force surround sound. 9) xperia z2 has best in-ear music with clear bass, clear stereo and clear phase and noise cancelling feature and the noise cancelling earphones come free with it...MDR-NC31EM...these headphones can only work with xperia z2 and these headphones record ambient noise while playing music and sends a noise cancelling signal to nullify the noise to headphones but the galaxy s5 comes with cheap headphones with NO BASS so music is never fun on s5.

Critisizers shall critisize this Beast, yet it stands out tall on all benchmarks!

First things first, This phone is a fabulous piece of gadget, with no issues what so ever. ______________________________________________________________________ * Little heating issue(during benchmarks and also during charging) * Very Light * "NO" DOWNLOAD BOOSTER IN THE OCTA CORE VERSION(THIS ONE). * Finger Print Reader works fabulously(watch youtube videos related to optimize finger print on S5 perfectly) * Heart Rate Monitor is a cool addition, rather than an essential one,Optical Image Stabilization in an alternate would have been better. * Camera in one word would be " " (speechless) BETTER than the Xperia Z2 too,due to various modes and mainly due to,on S5 we view them on the super HD Amoled display provided, Might differ when compared on a HD Monitor/Display Device for both devices. * Headphones are flat cable decent quality pieces. * The full golden side bumper panels are awesome. * Those who wanting to go for the gold variant* The Bezels are not the same black as the black and blue versions of S5 as shown on many youtube videos, Instead,it has a Golden Tint superimposed within the black which looks fab! But the only flaw or rather over hyped downfall that seem prominent is,it being a GREAT PIECE OF HARDWARE yet is being criticized due to the harsh retail outlets and jealous freaks. Yes you read that right, the ever so downfall of the phone is not because its bad, which its not at all, but only because of the aggressive pricing its facing all over India. 34909-35888 at Flipkart whereas 44000-51000 at retail outlets. Having that been said, their are certain category of people who are the main criticizers of this phone : * People who cannot afford the awesome phone are mostly the ones criticizing this beast having it in their dreams, out of jealousy. *Then the next category are the people who speaks about hardware and plastic, searching all over internet for the flaws of the phone and then being phony about the same here, they too are types of people who either cannot afford the phone or has other brands of phones. (Just check on the peoples names bragging about HTC One 8 or Xperia Z2 on the reviews of the respective phones, mostly are not a certified buyers over their too! :-D Look for their names on Nokia Asha/Micromax ,etc, you will be able to find their names there, rating such phones 5stars because they own it :-P ). * The third category of people are the physical store owners or workers ,mainly because at their store the phone is priced at 40k+ and since they cannot beat flipkart's price, they reject the phone's stocks and rate it bad on flipkart, to doom flipkart's sale, while increasing the sale of z2 ,m8,etc. This category also has one of the largest base of criticizers. * Last but not the least, the Certified Buyers criticizing the phone knowing all the hardware specs before, are generally the ones who had bought the phone at its premium price tag of 45k-51k and now asking flipkart for refunds, but are not getting any, are taking out their frustration of the review segment. So therefore, I hereby conclude, stop being misguided by false/frustrated reviews, go and try this piece of beast at your nearby store and order the same from flipkart. Trust me, The phone is a piece of wonder,I being a parallel user of iPhone 5s too would say that with ease. I know this review might get a lots of dislikes (by the above category of peoples) and hence might never show on top, but people, click on "this review was helpful - yes" to keep it on top upon the faces of the above categorized people :-). Coming to the phone, the gold one looks the best, I know benchmarks are not everything, still till date, all the benchmark apps are showing this device above the Quad Core variant, since it runs all the 8 cores simultaneously. People complaining about their personal app developing not being fast on the device,is generally a fault of their programming team, who are unable to optimize their app into this brilliant display. And to answer some, yes the side metallic bezels are metallic golden too,in the gold variant of the phone. Hope this review helps all the people daily searching for a decent review only to get demoralized by the criticisms. Always be confident of the 30days replacement guarantee too! If you don't like it,I bet you would, Just change it for a refund :-) _________________________________________________________________ CLARIFICATIONS : *NO DOWNLOAD BOOSTER *SPEAKERS ARE BELOW AVERAGE(DUE TO IP RATINGS) * GOLD coloured VARIANT HAS GOLDEN TINT ON THE BEZELS OF THE DEVICE WHEN LOOKED FROM THE WIDE ANGLES ADDING A MUCH MORE PREMIUM TOUCH TO IT! _________________________________________________________________

    No Snapdragon No Buy

An awesome phone no doubt, has the best display on the planet, IP67 certification. BUT, In India launched with exynos Octa core version which is quite fast, but the games and apps are better optimised for Snapdragon SoC because it is more popular. Samsung( outside India), LG, Sony, HTC, Gionee, Nexus, Oppo, and many other use Snapdragon 800 SoC. So better go for Snapdragon SoC than this. Also it is more battery efficient with built in 4G capabilities. Yeah, S5 has no 4G for 50k, while LG G2 has just recently launched a 4G model for the Indian 2300 MHz band. It has big (huge in current scenario) bezels which takes away beauty. Bezel less display like the G2 looks gorgeous and provides rich & immersive experience. The least Samsung could and should have done is to give users the option to choose snapdragon or exynos..
