I got a defective phone which is not able to charge the battery. Even after continuous followup for one week with Flipkart, the return is not even initiated. They keep me emailing with troubleshooting steps and claiming it will solve my problem, but it never solves the problem and they keep emailing me. It irritates me. Guys, the Flipkart 30 day replacement warranty is fake. Please buy from other websites and get a better deal. Anyways, the phone is awesome in good to use. The screen-touch is not as good as other Canvas phones. The design better than those.

Bought it about 3 weeks back. Excellent phone overall. Key USPs - High resolution display, 1GB RAM. I wanted to share a tip with everyone who is evaluating this phone. While it comes with a 2000 mAh battery, you can replace it with a 3000 mAh Micromax battery costing about Rs.450. Worth the extra battery juice to keep the phone running longer.

Phone is really awesome in range of 10k. All necessary features are there and working fine except internal memory. This phone is sold saying 8GB ROM but, only 0.98 GB for apps. How can anyone use this mobile? After installing few necessary apps like FB and Whatsapp, phone memory get full. WHAT RUBBISH... Plz do not buy this phone unless you get solution for the internal memory problem...

Everything is good about the phone except a very glaring and IMPORTANT drawback which amounts to cheat IMHO. As you can see the title of the product is "Micromax Canvas 2 Colors A120 with 8 GB ROM"; So end user will think the mobile has close to 6-7GB of space(minus few hundred MBs for bloatwares and OS)...... But in reality only .89 GB is the actual internal memory where u can install applications(subtract some overhead from here too). So after I installed FB and few other apps(no games), I started getting low memory alerts. FYI android 4.4.x needs atleast 200MB free in internal memory to function properly. Very very bad for an otherwise good product. How can they overlook such a simple thing. The phone does have 5.2GB of "internal SD card", but that can not used for installing applications. That space is only for storing ur photos etc. Preposterous. This simply shows how immature Micromax and similar companies can be. I future I'll always steer clear of brands such as these(include Xolo, Lava etc to this bunch). I'm applying for a return. Will go for Samsung Grand prime now. I'm not sure whether I'll get a refund or not. I'll update this post later with my finding.

Hi Guys, I never used to trust any other brands than nokia, htc, sony and samsung. But this phone changed my mind. no other phone in market available with these features for the price. I have been using this phone since 1 week and i dint find any lag or issues till now, however there is heating problem, but its only when u use phone for very long time.. Rear camera, one of the best in this price range, with powerful flash and sound clarity, its simply superb but you have to buy some good earphone. One more good thing, that this phone supports Samsung and Sony earphones with mic. not like other Micromax phones. I have tested earphones of galaxy grands, galaxy pro and also sony earphones the output is awesome and extremely good. even mic works in it and control buttons works too..! I have installed more than 20 apps, still its lag free. And even can be moved to SD card. OTG is supported. Guys who are thinking to buy this.. jus buy it off. Coz no other phone is best in the price range. Looks premium... Now i am waiting for kitkat update. ------------------------- after 10days of usage... earlier phones was getting heated up very soon.. But now m not having that problem, everyday i use minimum 2-3 Hours contineously, browsing or playing games. Now i didnt find heating issue.. guys..! who are using this phone, is your phone still gets heated up???

Before i purchased this phone, i waited for nearly 1.5 months. And checked the reviews on FLIPKART n other sites.. I have answers to prospective buyers common questions:- *BATTERY HEATING..?? Afterall not that much heating as i had thought..!!:) -use yellow/ blue pannel instead of black..Black absorbs inside aas well as outside heat!! -dont play/surf while on charging atleast upto 50%. -it is common on an most android fones!! --------------------------------- *BATTERY BACK-UP..?? -Decent, but disadvantageous!! Few say its coz of screen size and resolution. Battery drops 1% every 10-15minutes of usage. MICROMAX would have done it better guys!! ------------------------------- *CAMERA..?? -Canvas 2 Colors camera deserves 5 stars for this range of awesome resolution and clarity!! But flash is too high! So indoor dark room pics during night are awefull!! ------------------------------- *SPEED..?? OMG! Its MICROMAX's TOOFAN EXPRESS with 3G/WiFi.. 2G connectivity is not bad.. Buy a good 3G sim b4 u buy this fone!! No lagging as seen in my old phone of samsung/ karboon titanium while playing / hd video watching!! -------------------------------- *ACCESSORIES..?? -Charger is fine, gets heated when on charge!! -Ear plugs: simply awesome! I purchased this phone before four days.After six hours of charging I began to use my phone.Within first half an hour the battery charge reduced to 70 percentage,without using WIFI or Data connection (Only calling).So i decided to return this product.Don't Buy.

hy guys, I bought this new version of Canvas 2 a120, in which Android kitkat & 8GB ROM are the new features. Everything is perfect, but the battery doesnt even last for 3 hours of 3G web browsing and gaming. The heating issue issue is normal nowadays.... Anyway, if you dont care about the baterry and want a stunning mobile just go for it :)

I bought it from flipkart. Excellent packing and fast delivery made me happy. Take a look at pros and cons:-> Pros:-> 1}Antutu benchmark is 16990 [ Which is great. I also have galaxy s duos 2 which has 11990.] 2}Screen is excellent and looks great. 3}Video player is good and has new features. 4} UI is friendly but need some minor updates. 5}camera is also hd and captures nice at night. 6} Sound is good and loud for youtube etc. Cons:-> 1}Need UI updates. Like Bar doesn't come down when we try scroll it down while watching videos or playing games. Unlike other smartphones. Maybe KitKat update solve this issue.
