NOTE: I recently came across a few reviews saying that version 2.0 is being sold in the name of v 1.0 and v 2.0 which is not at all good. Please ensure that you get the correct version because I had brought this product long ago, so I don't have much idea about that. Thanks:) I ordered my product on 13-04-14 and was promised to have been delivered till 16-04-14 by WS Retail but the product was actually delivered on 19-04-14. This was my first purchase from flipkart and I expected somewhat better from flipkart. So a little disappointed from flipkart. However, packing was great as expected.Talking about the product, after doing detailed analysis about the product, i must say that the product is simply AMAZING and I think that I couldn't have got any better at this price. It is a good value for the money. In the Box:- TP-LINK 150Mbps High Gain Wireless USB Adapter TL-WN722N USB Cable Quick Installation Guide Resource CD Pros:- Really HIGH GAIN Wireless USB Adapter Looks sober and simple Good range No connection drops observed (till 3rd day of usage) Best in price Good Customer Satisfaction Service from TP-LINK Drivers are installed automatically from the mini CD provided Cons:- A little too big Always search (unnecessarily) for a wifi device/hot spot in spite of being connected to network through wi-fi (disadvantage for laptop users as it may drain some battery) Due to negligible cons, i am giving five star RATING to this TP-LINK 150Mbps High Gain Wireless USB Adapter IMPORTANT NOTE- It is important to mention that a drop in connection may be expected if you connect the wi-fi via Network and Sharing Center of Windows 7. So, it is recommended to make use of TP-LINK Wireless Configuration Utility Application that is installed when the drivers are being installed using Mini-CD that we get with the adapter in the box. I'd like to add any further pros or cons if I observe them. Lastly, i'd like to request you to mark my review helpful if you really find it helpful. EDIT: I have been using the device from past 20 days and have not faced even a single problem pertaining to this device.You'll be happy to know that I have found all solutions to the minor irritating problems and have therefore decided to share it with all. First is regarding repeated searching of wi-fi device in its range. If it happens to you too and you don't know the solution then the solution is to simply close the utility instead of minimising it.This will allow you to remain connected to internet and the utility or device will not search for any wi-fi device automatically till you reopen the utility to disconnect from the internet. This is the only solution to the given problem which may help saving battery (in laptop) and hence making the computer remain less strained due to less no. of running applications. The second annoying thing which I observed after giving reviews was that sometimes, active window defocuses when the utility is open e.g while typing or doing something, active window will defocus hence interrupting you from your work . You'll be happy to know that the solution to this problem is also the same.Window defocuses only because the utility keeps searching for wi-fi devices and when you press any key on keyboard which you are doing on the tp link utility which becomes active due to search of new wi-fi device in the range. Due to this, the connection may disconnect because the key pressed actually operates on the tp link utility.So, the solution to this problem is also the same i.e. just close the utility instead of minimising it. it is a good product from TP-LINK. with it's 4dBi directional antenna it is more efficient in receiving signals transmitted far. It has native support for monitor mode and packet injection in linux. looking for a good device for your WIFI Hacking needs this is the product you should buy!
