Lenspen NLP-1 Lens Cleaner

Hola fellow Flipkarters, So, seems like you've been wandering to purchase some sort of thing which cleans your valuable lens and keep it at it's best. You might just be at the right place, wanna know why? Read on! Well, let me start by telling you that I research for a minimum of 2 months before buying "anything", let alone the "Lenspen". First of all guys, please get this right that it is highly "not" recommended to use any sort of liquids on your lens even though it says "Made for camera lens". If you are looking for a lenspen for a point & shoot camera, then you should purchase the "Lenspen Micropro Lens Cleaner" and not this. Now this baby, oh yea, she looks very pretty and can work from both sides (front & back), she does satisfy you and no doubt gives a great finish by the time you and her are done - Yes I'm still talking about the Lenspen NLP-1 Lense Cleaner. With myself looking to complete my DSLR bag with every best/suitable attachments that I can fit it in. What do I have: 1) Canon EOS 60D 18-55mm kit lens- WS Retail - RS.45768 2) Lowepro Photo Traveler 150 - WhiteRabbit - Rs.1450 3) Canon 55-250 - Purchased from another site 4) Canon 50mm - Purchased from a local store 5) Canon lens hood- purchased on another site 6) Simpex 2400 Tripod - WS Retai l -Rs.1210 7) Transcend TS-RDP8K Multicard reader - LaptopOriginals - Rs.580 8) Lenspen NLP-1 Lens Cleaner - Viket Solutions - Rs.320 9) Lexar SDHC 8GB Class 10 Memory Card - Thelmaging World - Rs.275 10) Lexar SDHC 32GB Class 10 Memory Card - TheImaging World - Rs.999 I think I've got the Lenspen for the lowest price this product was sold, atleast at this point of the month, took my chances even though I carried my doubts as it was a new seller. The Lenspen was indeed an original one (designed in Canada) and came with the original Lenspen sealed pack, very innovative packaging by Flipkart regardless to whether the item is fragile or not, much appreciated. Unlike the carbon tip, the brush does not have a cap, which is still ok, however, I still store it in a box which my parker pen came in. It also comes with a pocket hanger, for me, it just looks good with the hanger clip, but some of you can also use it as a style statement :-) :-) How to clean: 1) Blow/brush away the stubborn dust particles on the lens, either by brushing it smoothly with the brush of the Lenspen or by using a dust blower 2) While brushing/blowing dust particles, always make sure the lens faces the floor beneath, so as you brush gravity does the rest 3) In small circular motions, wipe clean your lens by using the carbon tip of your Lenspen 4) Voila, you now have a clean and perfect looking lens 5) Put the carbon tip back into the cap which has another carbon layer inside it, twist the cap back and forth to recharge/clean the tip to use another time. I did read some reviews, saying, "black grease/powder coming out when you touch tip, product not good". That is because people don't know what they are using and what it is made off. The flat tip has a carbon compound which helps in cleaning the lens much better and is absolutely safe for your valuable lens. So, hope this review helps you guys. Until next time, Cheers! The lenspen is quite handy. I keep it in my slr bag all the time . At first when i touched the carbon tip , I noticed black grease but nothing to worry about . I used it on the lens and all the finger prints and minor scratches are gone . Although i guess the number of usages are limited ( 500 or something ) . I first use the brush to clear out the dust , then carbon tip to clear the camera lens of anything unwanted . Delivery was really gud and so was packaging . Package was delivered before the time . For all the camera owners out there , Its a must try once . You won't won't like it !

I got this lens pen 2 5 days ago. And it is a good product... It can remove dusts and any spots on the lens easily. Every photographer must have this equipment... Its just looks like a pen and it has a pocket hanger so that you can carry it anywhere easily... cons- It doesn't have a brush cap and it is not coming with a safty box... so you have to take care of the pen very much... Otherwise this lens pen is best in this price range
