Funskool Monopoly - India Edition Board Game

Being a huge Monopoly fan, I thought I'd give this edition a try and bought it from flipkart.com and as always I got the item after 4 days in excellent packaging. I own several Monopoly editions so I was thrilled to learn the following points - PROS : * Cheapest edition available * Having an Indian version of a game you love is not a bad thing * The Speed Die gives it a new twist to the regular game play CONS : * Poor quality game parts. Like, seriously cheap looking & terrible quality Chance Cards & Community Chest Cards. The tokens are equally silly in material (This is what comes out of a Rs 399 board game) * It is no different from all the other regular editions in game play. In other words, quite boring. (Speed Die cannot quite save me from boredom) However, if you can look past the very poor quality of this product, it still is a quaint, old fashioned, good old Monopoly game that all members of the family can enjoy!

Always liked Monopoly, so bought this one. Very disappointed with the board and card quality. It is much inferior than the one I have from 4-5 years back. The coins used for playing the game are in fact so cheap looking that had to replace those with something else. May be the deluxe edition has better quality. But this one is clearly not recommended. Funskool quality in general seems to have deteriorated a lot in recent times. Also bought checkers and tambola recently and both were very very cheap looking. Seems too much cost cutting going on.

Indian edition of the classic popular Monopoly game, makes the game play interesting. But the down side is, the tokens provided are of worst quality. It is made out of very cheap plastic. I was really dis-appointed with the quality of the tokens. Quality of all other items are acceptable for this price range. Service from Flipkart is excellent as usual.
