Acer One 10 review

The product is exactly as stated. A good mini travelers laptab. Pros: (1) At this price its a value for money. (2) Battery backup is amazing. Mine last more than 8 hours after continuous usage. (3) Overall for everyday usage its a good product. Cons: (1) The charger is not as expected. It seems like Acer does not produce its own chargers and provides some local charger. (2) The name of the seller is not as mentioned here. The bill has different name of seller. In mine case, it was delivered from Tech-Connect Retail Pvt LTD. Others can also post so that it can be verified. The seller is not RetailNet for sure. (3) The emmc storage is 32 gb where operating system is installed (the C: drive). When purchased available space was 24 gb, after first update it reduced to 18 gb, and after second update it further reduced to 10 gb. Seems like windows 10 is keeping backup somewhere and reducing available size of disk. This is a issue which can be resolved but expected to have atleast 64 gb disk space for the drive where OS is installed. This is major drawback. Edit: Regarding storage space Its a hybrid meaning 32gb + 500gb. Though the catch is that 500gb storage drive is on the keyboard part. So, to access 500gb you will need to attach tab with keyboard. Without keyboard it has only 32 gb emmc drive which will pretty soon run out of space after few windows update. Note: The space in tab part can be increased using sd card but that will only give storage space for saving files and movies. Issue: The operating system drive will eventually shrink to space less than 4 gb available space. This is headache! and I mean it! If you are not techie you will find yourself in soup. The system will slowdown a little bit when available space becomes less in C: drive. Usage: I can only write after 4-5 months of usage. For past 5 days it has been working great.
