Casio D082 Youth Series Digital Watch - For Men

Got this Watch atleast over 2 yrs ago (maybe 3yrs).. And its one of the most excellent watches i have ever got.. I did not buy this here at Flipkart but purchased it from Casio Showroom in Chennai for Rs.2750. And i am still using it.. Loving it.. Pros - 1) Watch look Elegant, Decent and professional on the wrist. Looks great too.. 2) Shows almost time lists 49 countries in the world map and allows u to set 4 times zones to ur convenience.. 3) Thought the watch is fully Digital, it has two clock/time view modes - Digital and Analog (in Digital). So u can enjoy both analogue and digital on same watch. 4) Analog mode sets u to the default time and u can set any time zone out of 49 on the digital.. So get to view two time zone at the time.. 5) Date and time are displayed all the time.. 6) The Casio gives u 2 yrs of Warranty and this watch has excellent battery.. I mean Battery is very powerful with 10 yrs life.. Its been over 2 yrs and i have not changed the battery yet..!! Cons - (Just as said by Achintya) 1) The LED lighting is a crap.. Feels like a old age.. The Light illuminates for less than 2 seconds.. 2) The Body built of the watch is plastic and prone to scratches.. 3) There are Protective ring around the display plastic, but is of no use.. It doest protect the display glass and makes it scratch prone too.. 4) The Strap link point to Watch body is plastic, is weak and is easily breakable.. I met with a minor accident few months back and that link slightly broke off.. Surprisingly, i applied "Fevi kwik' and made the link strong to use the watch continuously.. 5) The Analogue dial is very small, which makes me difficult to read.. I hate that part.. But accepted to buy the watch as it looks cute.. Overall.. Its a good looking watch.. Looks both Sporty as well as professional.. Importantly, Since the body of watch is plastic, the watch looks little bulkier but is actually light weight.. If u take good care of this watch.. Is will take care of u.. PS- This one was my mom Gift.. And will never lose this one though i have a Luminox now..

Pros: 1. Its a good watch, stylish. 2. Has 4 time zones easily viewable. 3. The dial shows the time in a analogue fashion. Its a gimmick however, no real purpose. 4. Setting up the watch & modes is easy. 5. Date & day are displayed. Cons: 1. Main problem which I found with the watch is the light. Its a LED illuminating the watch. A bit old school. Moreover, the light switches off the moment you try to switch modes, making the watch really difficult to use at night. 2. Also the link where the strap fits into the watch is made of plastic, which really makes it a bit of a weak spot in the watch. 3. The ring around the display is made of plastic which is susceptible to scratches. 4. The date is in American format ie MM/DD which cannot be changed which I really hate
