Mungyo Square Shaped Soft Pastel Crayon

this colour palette is very well thought out. All the colours can match or compliment the others. If you mainly paint/draw human faces/portraits, this is definitely the best set to go with because soft pastels can be easily blended and create that soft gradient that's typical of skin. packaging was excellent. the crayons come in a sturdy cardboard box with a slightly flimsier outer covering. Each crayon has its own niche cut out in a hard sponge. they're held firmly in place and can't be jostled or broken no matter how reckless you are with them. the colour payoff is medium. the lighter shades blend easily but the darkest shades need to be applied with a very light hand, or else the pigment embeds itself in the paper overall, great buy! i wish i'd bought the 24 colour set :P
