In Wireless AC 1x1 433MHz, get only about 120Mbps MAX speed with my laptop right next to the router. If this is not enough - hold tight. If I connect my Note 2 on the same 5GHz band, speed drops 6 times to just about 20Mbps combined (30Mbps on 2.4GHz at maximum signal strength using these 2 clients). In contrast - My DIR-506L pocket router gives 1x1 n combined speed of 45Mbps while giving a max sustained speed of around 80Mbps over 150Mbps stable connection only! So switching to AC 433 only gives an additional 20-40Mbps which can easily be achieved by a 2x2 N300 network adapter even over 2.4GHz! My DSL-2750u gives shared bandwidth of 70Mbps over a basic 2.4GHz 1x1 band! Speed drops when navigating the web interface of the router or accessing files off DLNA or SAMBA (Windows file sharing). PPPoE speed maxes out at 76-79Mbps when even my basic Dlink or Linksys 100Mbps router gives close to 95Mbps on a 100Mbps link! Pros: 1. No issue with Gigabit Wired switching except for the above measured using Gbit wired connection only. 2. Okay USB 2.0 DLNA or file sharing performance 3. Good feature sets like accessing All in one printer over the network like a local USB printer with all features supported. These Dlink routers essentially encapsulate USB signals of the printers using Shareport Plus app! This seems different than the likes of Netgear which needs the app to scan documents, etc. Overall a great router in terms of feature-set but a terrible performer for high bandwidth application like HD media streaming or sharing a 100Mbps Internet connection. I am not sure if I was sent defective routers twice because both had strong burning smell which I don't believe is due to a brand new electronics (PCB itching or silicon/germanium fabrication smell I am well aware of).

First if all it took over 3 weeks for flipkart to deliver this item. Item was misplaced and what not! After it finally arrived I was expecting miracles as i Live in a 2 BHK 700 Sq/ft home and this router DOES EXACTLY same as my old low budget Belkin Router. I have a Nexus 5 (which is an AC Band certified product), and in the SAME room as the router I do not get full signal. Its drops to 4 out of 5 bars. Hugely disappointed with it. I will call D-Link over the weekend and see if I need a replacement or is this the actual performance of this product. Definitely Not worth 5k
