Lava A71 (Royal blue, 8 GB)1 GB RAM

I picked up this phone for my mum, and it's a pretty decent deal, lots of great features and specifications at an affordable price. It worked fine for a couple of weeks and then began exhibiting a strange problem: it would turn off automatically sometimes when in standby mode. The problem seemed to be more common when the handset was taken outdoors. I approached Lava Care and they did a software reset on the phone. The problem persisted. I went there again, and they kept the phone for a day for "testing". The problem persisted. I went there again, and they did another software reset. The problem persisted. I went there again, and they opened up the phone and did something (they wouldn't tell me what). The problem persisted. I went there again, and made it clear that this was the last time I was going there. They submitted the phone to the factory... I think and returned it in 4 days. It's been working fine for a week since. Every time I asked them for a job sheet, they refused. They wouldn't inform me what changes were made to the phone or what was fixed, only insisting each time that "It's been fixed, you may go now." This despite the posters in the service centre telling customers to specifically ask for a job sheet. Long story short - only buy this if you're prepared to deal with the incompetence at Lava Care.

Lava is always known for its extraordinary phones in affordable prices. Since I was willing to buy a new phone, I asked my friend, who is a tech freak person, for a suggestion. He advised me to buy Lava A71 because it has got some amazing features along with good camera quality and dual SIM capacity.
