I'm one of the early buyers when these were new on Flipkart and had no reviews. Cost me Rs. 1699. Now of course, the price is reduced as I see. These are more popular in the international market. After using them for the last few months, I can say I'm totally satisfied with the purchase. The bass is deep, and the ear-buds are tilted at an angle, which make it really comfortable when wearing. The looks are evidently very appealing, especially the red and black combo is too sexy! Please note that this Xtreme Xplosives series comes in two models: The older one was FX1X. which is preferred by some people, check comparisons online. However, they're way costlier if you try finding them on Indian sites. The only pro I find is that they come with this snazzy carrying kit. Whereas this new model FX101 comes with no pouch or kit. But for the price, it is totally justified, and you won't regret your purchase. Instead it'll make sure people turn heads when you're carrying them along. ;)

After a lot of research, I have gone for JVC HA-FX-101 over Sony MDR-XB30EX and Tekfusion-Twinwoofers. If you are looking for a bass heavy ear phones which costs under 2 grand, then look no further. These are the best you can get for this price. Out of the box, they don't sound that great and I felt it's tad bright for my liking. So they underwent a burn-in for next 20 or so hours after which the SQ had improved to a great extent. I used pink noise exclusively for this process. The SQ has been improving ever since. I own a Superlux HD668B(Over-The-Ear), a Creative EP630(In-Ear) and a Sony MBR-XB400(On-Ear) phones and comparing to them, HA-FX-101 has much more tight, live and punchy bass. If you listen to loads of Dubstep/Club/House/Dance , you will really enjoy these phones. Tested them on my Cowon C2, Galaxy Note 2 and Macbook Pro and they sounded great on all these devices. If you are someone who like to play with the Equalizer , you can get more from these. Highly Recommended if you are a Bass Head
