    Audio-technica delivers yet again.

I got them about a week ago for 1450 and after abusing them ever since over a wide range of music, I have to say that these are a great set of earphones in this price range. Having used the likes of Sony MDR-ZX110, House of Marley Smile Jamaica, Philips SHE3250 and Sennheiser CX180 (even though CX180 are amazing) I must say these come closest to meet the demands of an audio purist. You get the music as it was intended to be heard by the artist. The lows and the mids are crisp and clear, the treble is outstanding (for the cost), the only downside is that some of you may find it a bit too loud at higher volume. And these are not meant for bass heads. If you enjoy nice crisp and quality music instead of enhanced punchy bass, this product won't disappoint.

Gem of a product at a steal price.

As there is very little information available on internet about these so I thought I should write a review. Summary: If you love detailed sound and you consider yourself an audio purist, you can't find anything better than these under 2000rs. My background: Have used sony xb30, soundmagic es30, panasonic tcm125 (the highly rated model from theverge), audio technica ath clr 100, xiaomi piston 2, xiaomi mi in ear headphone pro, audio technica M20x etc. First things first, I like bass but there is a difference between boooooom and thump. I prefer quality of bass rather than quantity. Secondly, I like clarity and soundstage also. Coming to earphones: Build quality: Nothing spectacular, not bad either. The cables are very different compared to normal flat cables or cylindrical wired ones. They are somwhat oval and have texture to them. But they work. Does not get tangled easily. The quality of eartips are also great. They block a lot of noise. Will be trying comply foam tips soon on these but without them also, these work great. The fit also perfect for me, they never fall off my ears. I will start running from tomorrow so most probably I will update the review after few months but for now, these are rock solid. However, I found that pistons have better build quality than these. Be it piston 2 or the pro model, both have better build quality. Sound Quality: When I first purchased my audio technica M20x headphones, I thought that I have completely wasted my money. It was the first time I had heard a Monitor headphone. I was same as you guys, who has never heard good quality headphones, just judged everything on BOooMmmm factor. Still I couldn't throw it so I used it casually for a month or two, I swear now that I can never go back to those crappy cheap skullcandy, sony, jbl headphones ever. Now when I hear every other earphone, my base of reference is ATH m20x as they have so much of clarity and good bass (although less for me, I told you I am bass heavy Guy, but not crappy bass blind guy). Now, these earphones (CK330is) have the same sound signature as the M20x. But soundstage is lesser (obviously, because m20x are headphones). However bass is better compared to M20x (as ck330is is in ear). Quality of the bass is very good. It does not muds up other frequencies. I found the Ath CLR 100 also similar but I wanted a mic so I went with ck330is. I still think nothing can beat ATH CLR 100 in terms of price to performance ratio. I have also heard the senheisser cx 180 and they are also very good earphones with good build quality but mids is slightly recessed in that earphone compared to audio technica Ath clr 100 and ck330is. Same is the case with xiaomi mi pro version. However xiaomi pro model has a wider soundstage compared to ck330is and they are fun to listen earphones. In short, in terms of bass quality CK 330is beats all of the above mentioned earphones. In terms of bass quantity, sony xb 30 have it most followed by panasonic. But both sound pathetic in terms of quality. In terms of treble, nothing can beat Clr 100 and ck330is(NOTE: I am only considering all earphones, not the M20x headphones as they are way better).
