Amazing sound

Well but not supper

I have been using 2.1 Creative Speakers for past 4+ years for my TV. Just thought of buying a new 2.1 Speakers for my TV & connect my old Creative Speakers for my Laptop. I was searching for all possible 2.1 Speakers that fits my budget. Searched in for some of the Zebronic Speakers and thats when I landed into this model (SW2492).. Though was skeptical about it since it did not have reviews anywhere, later found this product to be a new arrival in Zebronics website. I brought this offline at a local electronic shop. After some good usage of this product, here I list the Pros & Cons of the Speakers. ---Features--- 1. Down-firing Woofers, for better Bass effect. 2. FM, USB, MMC. 3. Digital Display for displaying track nos in USB/MMC, FM Station Frequency. 4. Remote, Bass-Treble Control.. ---Pros--- 1. Excellent Bass (Music sounds great when connected with quality Players/TV). The Bass Effect comparsion that I made with my old Creative Speakers sounded better in Zebronics.. Crytal Clear that is !!! 2. The Sound quality engulfs the room & no complains over that. I did not try with full volume since half the volume was loud enough.. 3. Not sure whats the upper limit of the Pen drive this device can detect, but I used a 32GB pen drive and it detected & played songs. 4. Equalizer (Pop, Jazz, Rock....) selection from Remote if playing songs from MMC/Pendrive. ---Cons--- 1. FM Antenna comes as a thin Wire that can either be left loose or tied somewhere, but the quality is bad. If mistakenly pull over, chances of wire tearing off from the Woofer unit is more.. FM reception for some stations are great while some does not pick up the signals properly (Considering 12 stations in Chennai, I get around 6 without distortion, the rest do pick with distortion despite trying all possible ideas for better tuning) An FM Antenna that comes with conventional Radios could have been opted here for better reception. 2. Since the Display is a 7 Segment LED display & four of them, it cannot display whats the name of the track, Only Track Number & Duration will be displayed. Its difficult to select songs. You can randomly key in the 4-digit no from remote to select the track. Could have had a display where song name is displayed. Thanks, Venky
