Well the philips has done the incredible work again with this small, beautiful, reasonably priced mp3 player, with decent sound reproduction and simple navigation. The product is great for all age groups, because of its simplicity. I am writing this review after some days of its usage, from which i have concluded of its credibility exceeding far away from its cons. Here are some gr8 +ve things of this mp3 player: 1.The design is really great, feels very premium and unique. 2.The sound reproduction is very good, crisp treble with good bass. It has a FULLSOUND feature which makes the music feel e1 more gr8er. It also has a equalizer built in, but I prefer the fullsound feature. The sound extreme level is also very good ( I had read a lot of reviews complaining abt this, but its good with 1-16 levels) It also has a "fast forward" feature, which is really good. 3,Gr8 display - The screen is about 1 inch, which is a OLED display(only the text which comes on screen brightens, rest remains clear black), just like clear black display in super amoled display screens. Display is very bright and clearly visible e1 in sunlight, really very good display. It is a 2 line display during the music playback. 4.The clip is very sturdy so its clipping mechanism would not wear down easily. 5.Sound recording is really great with the built in mic. It records crisp and clear. 6.Navigation is really very simple, with the provided back/hold key and the . & .. dot keys. One gets used to in just couple of minutes (talking about me :) ). 7. It also has a FM receiver & it plays FM in STEREO MODE.. Its definitely my favorite part of this mp3 player. It has 20 presets option, which I think is more than sufficient. 8. The FM has also a FM recording option, which is AWESOME, as the FM is recorded in 256 kbps, gr8 audio quality. 9. It also has a folder view option. We can create folders as playlist and play them as we wish. ( with SHUFFLE or without ) 10. It is really very fast to put songs in the player. Its really simple and convenient - just drag and drop in the music folder and enjoy. 11. The charging is fast - & its really like 6mins chrg. to 1 hr playback.(Tested) 12. Total playback time (continuously) is like 6 to 7 hours, works fine to me. 13. And now the headphones provided. I have read a lot of sarcastic reviews for the earpones with the package. Well, i really like the earphone. They of course are not in-ear-types and are really basic, but their sound reproduction is very DECENT. They remind me of older times, when there were no in ear types. These are good. 14.We can also store other type files, i.e. can also use as a flash pen drive. CONS:- 1. I think should not be even near to this gadget, but it has some. The single dotted button is not very intact. Its like really very little bit up from its ground position. When ever i press this down button, it feels a little bit annoying. But its okay as I have got used to it. :). Rest of the build is good. 2. Track changing is not really quick. It takes about 2-3 seconds to change the track. But one gets used to it. :) 3. In-built equalizer is just ok , as we don't get many options. AT LAST,,, THE VERDICT -- Its really to fall for MP3 player. This is my first ever mp3 player, and its awesome. The music reproduction from this gadget would really back off other leading brands. The provided headphone are also good, ""BUT if you have IN EAR types ( as I do have - Panasonic RP-HJE123 K ), the experience is going to be really gr8"". The FM reception ability is great, even if you are sitting in extreme indoors. The record function is really convenient. The in built mic records in gr8 quality. Its really a budget friendly gadget, and I would totally recommend it if you are looking for a gr8 mp3 player under 2k. Just choose it without thinking.

I don't like the sound quality of mobile phone. It is also difficult to listen music always in computer. I wanted to buy a mp3 player so that I can listen good quality music at any time. Now i can say my finding is over. This mp3 have all the quality a music lover want. This product has lot of positive points though have some negatives as below. +ve points (1) Sound quality is very good. I use JBL j02 headphone with this mp3 player. I am totally satisfied with this mp3 player. It produce such clear sound and bass which i didn't got in any other device even in computer with equalizer. I personally tried apple shuffle with same headphone and i didn't get any difference. (2) Sound level is quite enough to use it even in local train. (3) Looks is quite unique & good. (4) Don't need any software(like iTunes) to transfer songs to mp3 player. (5) Direct charging. no cable needed. (6) Folder view is a good option. (7) FM is quite ok though i didn't use it properly. (8) Music start from the point where u last power off. (9) u can fast forward a song. (10) can be use as pen drive :P -ve points (1) Build quality is not so good. (2) Size is near about twice compare to apple shuffle. (3) Battery performance is not so impressive. I get near about 6h playback in this new condition. (4) For some old Hindi songs, u can feel sound level is little low. (5) Given headphone is not so bad. As i already used JBL, so don't want to put given headphone again. Overall its a good product for music lovers. If music makes u smile, go for this mp3 player. If u already have a good quality headphone, choose this one without thinking. Otherwise, order a sennheiser mx 170 or jbl j02 headphone along with this mp3 player and still u can save about Rs 1000 compare to apple or sony.

This is a lovely product for the price range. Loving it, totally. Though the earplugs are not upto the mark, but am using it with Sony MDR EX-700 earplugs, and the end result is just out of this world. Total noise cancellation. You will be at a complete escape from surrounding world, be it a crowdy place or you are in an isolation. My best friend now. Thanks Flipkart
