Dear Micromax, i love you as you are the only Indian brand challenging mammoths and titans. but my beloved company there are things that you got to deal with for flooding every Indian home with your phones. first basic thing is to add gorilla glass or some similar one to your phones. this will beat all other products. Moto E won against you due to this factor only. secondly if there is any product planning team with you then ask them to be farsighted. earlier you launched Micromax Unite 2 with 4 gb now you are launching same with 8gb and that too with same price. the people who purchased a week or two week earlier shall feel cheated. this harms company's repo in the market. i hope you are listening.... hope you shall improve and make us feel proud by dominating not only India but abroad also

Ordered on 25th may and received it on 28th for only 6999/-. This review is based on continuous usage of 24 hrs. This phone is a solid performer. No lags at all. Smooth as butter. I only bought this phone because of its low cost and some high end specs as my previous xperia accidentally fell in a water tub :P. The display is bright but has a low resolution. Although IPS LCD overcomes this flaw. I checked its benchmark on Antutu and quadrant standard and surprisingly it was more than Samsung s3, nexus 4 and note 1. Hatsoff to micromax for this brilliant hardware configuration. I played riptide gp2 and real steel, both high graphics game, and they were running really very smooth without any lag aur hang. I am just installing real racing 3 and will update the review regarding that. Memory card slot is provided and this also provides an extra feature of installing apps on external storage. Android 4.4.2 :* , one of the many good things you will find on this budget phone. Battery backup is OK. after charging 100% , it worked for complete 9 hrs being connected to wifi and i was downloading software and surfing continuously. No videos were played. Auto screen brightness all the time. The only drawbacks I could notice in this phone are The heating of phone near processor when playing heavy games. The camera quality is very poor in low light. However it captures good photos in proper day light. There in no screen protection so it becomes very sensitive and scratch prone. Even though a screen guard would work perfect. ;) One extra feature is provided i.e. wifi direct, but still I haven't made any use of it so cant say anything. At the other end so called competitor MOTO E stands no where near Unite 2 on the basis of performance. MOTO E does have a good build quality and looks but whats the use of it if you cant play games you want... :D :D Overall a very good budget phone and rally deserves 5 star.

Finally micromax has understood that even budget phones need to have good specs. Now I'm not gonna post specifications of the phone since it is already displayed on the product page. Check out Vinay's review, he has done a fair comparison between the unite 2 and moto e. Below are the benchmarks results of the two phones. Unite2 --- Moto E Quadrant Benchmarks: 8711 --- 5280 Antutu Benchmark: 16729 --- 12492 Nenamarks: 63.3 fps --- 48.0 fps As you can see the Unite2 beats the moto e in all benchmarks. The only advantage moto e has over the unite 2 is the corning gorilla glass, build quality and display. Surely at 7000 you can do away with all the advantages the moto e has over the unite 2. Now I am a shutterbug with a low budget so this is a great phone for me. Don't take me as a moto hater if the moto e had a decent camera and flash I would have definitely bought it without hesitation. The camera in the unite2 made me choose over the moto e.

Well i had ordered this product about two weeks back and after some hiccups with the delivery process i received the product!! Now almost one week of rigorous use and i am ready to write a review: Phone is BANG FOR THE BUCK !! Currently you wont get any other phone with so many features and almost no bloatwares for this price! Moto E is good , i don't deny that that but it lacks many important features that the Micromax has.( Front Camera, Apps movable to SD card e.t.c to name a few ) Pros: -------- 1) The quad-core processor does its job well, Games Like: Ashphalt 8, Dead Trigger2, Frontline Commando etc run on the HIGHEST SETTINGS( i repeat Highest Settings ) absolutely smooth. The touch response is also awesome. 2) There is no laag whatsoever while navigating through the menu. 3) Wifi Direct, Wifi Hotspot, WIfi Tethering, Bluetooth Tethering works absolutely fine. 4) After installing following Apps: a) Facebook b) Facebook messenger c) Whatsapp d) Team Viewer e) Flashlight( A all that makes your camera flash as a torch ) f) Linkedin g) Skype h) Clean Master i) Book My show j) BS Player k) Flipkart l)PDA Net m)Times Of india n) Safari Book reader And the following Games: a) Ashphalt 8 b) Frontline Commando c) Dead Trigger 2 d) Temple Run e) Sky Force I still have about: -- 100 mb of internal space for app install. -- 564 mb ( Total 965 mb ) of Ram free. --------- 5) Video calling with Skype and my Wifi was nice.. Picture quality of 2mp front camera is good. 6) 5mp back camera is ok. Sometimes lacks the clarity. But its faaar better than Moto E. 7) HD video recording is alright. 8) I use whatsapp, facebook , facebook messenger, Gmail and times of india all the time, after that the battery stays for about 18 hours.( Please don't expect this batterly life if you are using the phone for gaming ) 9) Screen quality is good, there is no pixalation anywhere and 199ppi is according to me perfect for the screen size. 10) Phone plays 1080p and 720 p videos without any issue, if you are not getting sound with inbuilt android player for mkv files please use BS Plater free. 11) The google voice search can do wonders: Play you a song, Set a alarm for you, find a place for you, Search nearby hotels and show you the way, all by just speaking to it and no typing. Cons ------ Well guys( And girls) after getting so much from the phone in this price range its taking time for me to think the Cons. 1) It gets a little heated where the micromax logo is , on the back side when playing games for long of doing heavy wifi downloads. But nothing that makes it unpleasant to use. 2) Camera could have been better. 3) While playing games or using video chat or wifi download, batterly gives about 7-9hours. ( This may get reduced in future as we keep using the phone, but Micromax has given us a removable battery as well) 4) Sometimes face unlock does not recognises me. 5) No back covers still available in bangalore, only screen guards( not a con of course) Thats All folks!! ---- N.B.: Those people who are complaining that there is less internal memory and not all apps can be moveable to SD card, please note that most of the apps are moveable to SD card( INCLUDING Facebook, Whats App etc ) without rooting your device. Search in google/youtube " Move android apps to SD card without rooting " and you will get the solution.

Hello, I'm using this mobile for couple of days & im giving my honest review on "MMX Unite2" the major problem is if you install all the updates available from the google for the current apps & then if you try to install any other apps like chrome, facebook, whats app & etc. you will get a error message as no enough memory, if the internal memory is full then you cannot install any other apps, you have to clear the cache memory of each & every app & then try to install any other app, this is the main drawback in the phone, there is no sufficient memory available for other extra apps to be installed even though you have 5 GB of Internal phone memory, camera clarity is ok, not very expected, touch is really cool, speed of the processor is also good with the RAM, no hangs or lags while using, but the phone heats up below the camera near the back panel logo after using for more than few minutes continuously, not tried installing the game, because no proper memory available to install any more apps, so buyers please think before you buy this product, only because of very less internal memory, even i called up flipkart customer support on product whether we have any ideas on the memory storage, they response was like plz restart phone, clear cache memory, third party software cant be installed, so many things, where its all bulshit, so buyers please be aware before you buy this unite 2.

I ordered on Friday night on Flipkart and received the phone on Monday morning. WSRetail and Flipkart rocks in clear and faster service . This is my second phone from WS retail (I already have a Lumia720). Unite 2 A106 8GB ROM is a value for money phone. I was stunned at the features we get for 6.5K. The camera is very good. Photo quality is good. Kitkat rocks. Touch is also very good. Screen guard comes as free with box. I struggled bit to put the screen guard by my self. Only thing I don't like on Flipkart is price fluctuation. Happy buying...

I bought a Micro max A106 mobile thru FLIPKART on two weeks back. This is the first time i purchased thru online. generally i would not like the online purchase. thru my friends reference i bought the same thru online. i burned my finger literally. yes the mobile has some issue ( features are not working properly) and it was not rectified neither service center nor flipkart. They simply told that it was mother board problem. and they are not ready for rectify or replace the same. since it was two weeks baby i very much suffered and my mind is not at all accepting this cheating. So my strong recommendation would be not purchasing Micro max mobile especially thru online.

I got all my orders from WS retails till date. While the service is excellent, they also need to pull up manufacturers for supplying defective products as Flipkart also suffers losses due to aftersales costs of returns and replacement apart from customer regretting to buy these products. I got a replacement of my phone after having issues with updating google maps, OTG errors, weak radio signal errors, wifi direct etc. Google maps don't work if you update it. In built 'smash it' app keeps giving pop ups unless u disable it from settings. MAd keeps giving pop up every time u call, u can disable it but if u restart the phone it starts again. U have to disable completely from app settings but then what is the use of giving this app and highlighting it in promos as a selling point?? Flipkart CCEs are telling to reset the phone to slove above issues which I did couple of times even in the replaced model, however it doesn't help. As I understand from reviews, other people too are facing such problem. My friend also bought this phone from flipkart and is also facing the same issues. Apps memory is only 0.6GB free against flipkart's claim of 0.89GB which is total memory, hence it's not fair to cheat customer's by publishing wrong info. Kitkat doen't allow to move apps completely to external storage so you can't do anything here. It's the biggest drawback of kitkat as I understand from web reviews and micromax does worst by providing only 0.6GB free for apps. Built in apps like opera, kingsoft, hike etc. can't be updated, total disappointment. If you update all built in google apps, they occupy all the apps memory so it's totally useless since U can't install other apps. If u don't update, u can't have access to better versions and then what is the use of having smartphone? If these apps have security flow or any other problems you can't update to solve them. Will micromax take guarantee for security flows of these apps by restricting people to update some of these built in third party apps. Micromax has removed auto sync option from the device itself, hence you can't turn it off. You have to add system widget on homescreen to do so, very stupid. I figured this out after 10 days. But if you install other launchers, there is no way to do so unless launcher has that option. Absolutely annoying. USB OTG is not working eventhough it detects the device. If keeps showing msg "checking for erros". Default homepage is micromax webpage which opens everytime you open browser or even new tabs. There is no way to change default home page in built in browser making it absolutely annoying again. Earlier phone would not show option of wifi direct in 'share' menu of any file, however new phone has this option, however Wifi direct doesn't work to share files. Nothing happens after u select wifi direct option. Could not find any tutorial on how to use it. I tried calling micromax CC, but they could not give any help on these issues. All they had to offer is to go to nearest CC centre which I did, however they even had no idea that Unite2 exists in the market. Worst after sales service. They simply said they can't help software issues as software is release by company. Micromax dumped this phone in the market to compete MOTO-E even before the release of unite1 (A092) without sorting out these issues. Unite1 is actually a competitor to moto-E but due to screen size and bettery they decided to release unite2 first. Flipkart needs to take this up with micromax.

Bought this phone a week before from local market for Rs 6700.Frankly i am not a MMX product fan.Usually i think these are Chinese craps selling products such in a low price with with high end configurations.Before this i was using SONY XPERIA U(ST25I) as i am a sony products fan but all i can say is that sony xperia was a Chinese crap so i thought to try this out.Coming to the phone so far so good. 1)NO LAG AT ALL.(PLAYED TEMPLE RUN,HILL CLIMB RACING,SUBWAY SURFERS) 2)SCREEN UNLOCKING AND RUNNING APPS ARE SMOOTH AS BUTTER. 3)INTERNET SURFING IS FAST. 4)BIGGEST CONCERN IS BATTERY BACKUP.(HARDLY RUNS FOR 6-7 HOURS WITH 3-4 CALLS PER DAY).I VE A SECONDARY MOBILE FOR THIS WHICH GIVES ME 5-6 DAYS BATTERY BACKUP. 5)PHONE GETS HEAT NEAR THE MMX LOGO IF U RUN ANY GAMES FOR 10-15 MINS OR U ARE SURFING THE INTERNET. 6)VOICE CLARITY IS GOOD WHILE TALKING BUT NOT THAT GR8. 7)ANOTHER BIGGEST PROBLEM IS IF U PLACE THE PHONE ON A DESK,90% CHANCES ARE THERE THAT U LL MISS THE CALL. 8)BUILD QUALITY IS OK. 9)CAMERA QUALITY IS GOOD.I DONT USE THIS THOUGH I VE TAKEN FEW SNAPS FOR THE CLARITY AND QUALITY.(TAKEN IN A GOOD BRIGHT SUNNY DAY). I just got this phone 5 day ago through flipkart , what i say about their high speed deliveries i should have got this phone in about 8-9 days but just got in within 3rd day :D ... So 5 stars for delivery.... Now about the phone ..... Pros :- 1. Awesome budget phone having "1.3 GHz MT6582M Quad Core Processor " 2. 4.7-inch LCD Well can't say its HD but best in class for this range 3. Latest Android 4.4.2 . Hope to get the future upgrades too 4. 2000 mAh Battery hours of life :D 5. 1 Gb ram great performance ( i played ASPHALT 8 man its rocking no lag nothing awesome experience, D-Day works great too.. other apps functioning great too Cons :- 1. Its have way to less Phone storage about 0.89 GB ( user memory is other thing) Apps install in phone storage only..... BUT WAIT THIS ISSUE IS JUST TINY BIT PROBLEM , if you believe in ur android skills root the phone , and swap the memory to external sd card you can get guides online at Google... U would unlimited space to install apps then :D 2. It ain't a HD recorder u can say just better then any Sd recorder .... 3. Sound volume is low even if u max it up ... ( not an issue for most people) 4. Browser is a problem just download another browser ( i have UC browser) Note :- People saying this mobile is sht mostly don't know how to use android well , it just need little tinkering to increase space.... USB OTG works fine.. If u need to unlock DEVELOPER TOOLS ( Go to Setting > About > click build number 5-6 times to unlock ) HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS , I WOULD SURELY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE :D
