    HTC- Not good as expected

This is my first HTC phone. i bought this device on 6th jan, and i m writing this review after almost 25 days. I will mention some pros and cos. Pros- Camera is good. Screen size-5.5" which is good. Android lollipop which is good. Normal operation seems good. Cons- battery back up is not good, it works for 12 hours and then you have to again charge it. Charging time is about 2.5 to 3 hrs. Phone is hanging some time after i installed some applications. Heating problem- Its heat up a lot during wifi usage and calling. you cannot talk more than 15 minutes.

    HTC at its Best

If you are looking for smart phone between 18-20k. This is beast of all. Look is very classy in pearl white. Phone is very slim and light weighted. The display is vibrant. Plays all videos with full color flow without lag. The sound is the quality feature, boosted with Dolby and dual speaker on front gives it extra power and also the voice is very clear. The gaming capacity of phone is also up to mark. I didnt play any heave games though but its very good for normal games. The phone is boosted with 2 gb ram and dosent lags at any point, It didnt hanged for a single instance. Camera is best, front camera is 4 but believe me it gives so clear pic that looks decent much more than that. If you are HTC lover go for it.

    Back with Bang

Got it on the very first day of the launch. Worth it. Best phone for selfies....awesome clarity with ultra pixel front camera. Battery backup is good. I would recommend to go for it.

    Just Awesome!!

Its 3 day am using this product Pros:1) The phone is so slim and weight also less compare to other mid range mobiles. 2) Camera is good, selfies are awesome. 3) Audio is as usual. HTC made its mark. Cons: 1)I feel draining of battery is little fast. May be its because of 5.5 inch LCD screen. But you can go for power saver mode. Remaining every thing is superb!!!!! Value for your each penny.

    Not an exciting phone

I bought this phone only because Flipkart provided me exchange offer for my old Nexus 5. Have been using it for the past 3 weeks. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this phone. Pros: 1. Display is good, for watching videos or typing email/chatting. 2. Light weight: The phone is really sleak and light, very handy to handle. 3. Camera quality is excellent 4. Battery is decent for a normal user 5. No overheating has been observed so far. Cons 1. I am terribly disappointed with the response speed of the phone. You can clearly observe a lag while opening any app, even after disabling most of the pre-installed useless htc apps. Apparently, the MedaTek processor is good only on paper. 2. Extremely substandard accessories. The earphone broke within 3 days after delivery. 3. The phone does not have a premium look, the panel is made out of plastic. 3. Charging is really slow I would recommend Nexus 5x/ Moto X over this product.

Safe bet, Elegant phone at this price range

The look and feel of the phone is just beautiful with vibrant display and colours. Although the sound feels the bit low at max volume, it's still better than samsung. The side panels gives you a good grip of the phone and plastic on the back gives a premium look. Light weight, looks very good on hand. A great buy overall. I would recommend it.

HTC Desire 828 Dual Sim Review

I have been using this phone for the past 2 weeks and this is my first review ever, so I will try to be as honest as possible. HTC has been gaining popularity in the mid-segment market with prices that are comfortable on the pocket and providing features that match these prices. HTC Desire 828 is yet another example. Here are the pros and cons: PROs: 1. Excellent camera, both front and rear. The 4UP front camera is breathtaking. Even low-light pictures come to life. The rear camera is good. HTC has continued with a 13MP camera and this decision has been good so far. 2. The design of this phone is very good. An overall plastic body makes it far more lightweight than it's competitors in the market. Rounded corners and a smooth back panel make it easier to hold and provide a firm grip. 3. The screen is a 5.5" full HD display with a 1920X1080 resolution, best in it's segment. Colors are really bright and display is very sharp. Watching movies, videos or playing games is much more appealing. 4. A 2GB RAM, a Mediatek octa-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz + Mali MT6753T processor make multi-tasking a piece of cake. Although some people believe that Snapdragon is better, trust me, I feel no different. 5. The phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with HTC's very own Sense 7.0 customization. They make a very nice couple and this in turn will make you happy while using the phone. There have been speculations that it might get updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, however a confirmation from HTC is still awaited. 6. Dual BoomSound Speakers with Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound happen to be a feather on the cap. Speakers are really loud and the sound is really crisp and clear. Speakers are front facing so if you are watching a video or playing games, the speakers provide an immersive audio which is really exhilarating. And yes, Dolby works with the earphones too, so yes, you will really enjoy your music. CONs: 1. Battery seems to be a major issue. It has a 2800mAh battery which might not be enough for people who happen to use their phone almost everytime. Without the wifi or mobile data on, you will get a good kick out of the battery and it will run for a day. Otherwise, it will last for 12-14 hours. The battery saver option provided in this phone is good and it will conserve the juice more and will extend the battery life to a maximum of 45 minutes- 1 hour, depending on the usage. 2. Heating issues. If you are playing games or watching movies, excessively, then the phone will heat up. I faced a specific problem that the phone was heating up when I was using it while charging. You might have to keep your phone aside during that time. If it heats up frequently, shut it down and switch it on again. That might help. So guys, all in all the phone is a worth of your hard earned money. Apart from other phone in the desire family, 828 clearly stands out. If you feel like buying it, do not hesitate. Best wishes

HTC - Not that great anymore

I've been having an HTC from 2008 - yes still running fine. The new phone on the contrary was defective out of the box, so its fair to say they don't make them as they used to. One of the dual front speakers were not working (a whining sound was coming from it during sound playback) The Flipkart's method of verifying if you return request is genuine has a lot to be desired. The so called "product specialist team" has neither the expertise nor the skills to asses the issue at hand. I was asked to install some 3rd party app and after the remote 'troubleshooting' by the "specialist" I was told my phone is fine. The "specialist" was sure the phone had only one front speaker in spite of me saying it had 2. Finally the "specialist" got enlightened accepted there are indeed 2 speakers I was asked to choose between replace or refund. I opted for a refund. It was promptly picked-up. The interaction with the "specialist" was truly a harrowing experience. Everything else was ok.
