After being on Android since 2009 (had an iphone 2G prior to 09), when my Note 2 died due to Sudden Death Syndrome (google it), the choice was between upgrading to a Note 5 (best hardware) or to an iphone 6S+ which came highly recommended by all friends. After lot of research decided that the Note 5, while being a powerhouse, will give me the same Samsung Touchwiz droid experience (albeit on steroids) that I have been using since the Galaxy S1 to my Note 2. Wanted a change in UI and experience and hence decided to go for the Apple despite a higher than Note 5 pricetag (considerably). Found out that flipkart rates for the product were lower than the Apple store by a decent margin so decided to take a leap of faith and ordered from flipkart. Delivery service as always was superb and the phone was in my hands within 10 hours of placing the order. Brilliant I say ! The product as expected is exemplary on every count. From build quality to retina display to the sorted OS, everything reeks of class and quality. Comparing this to the world of the premium Droids is like comparing a Mercedes Benz to a Toyota. The feel of this phone in your hand will immediately make you realize why you paid a premium for this over the Note 5 or the S6. The camera and battery life are brilliant to say the least and the phone is lightning fast, I kid you not ! Cons?? Well I am still used to the Back and App keys on my droid and subconsciously keep hunting for them at times on the iphone. The single Home key button layout and the GUI will take some more time for me to get used to. Plus the accessories are priced sky high as well. A pity that folks in India pay a solid price premium for apple products over the pricing in US or Europe or Singapore. Overall, I am absolutely in love with the piece. It is just WOW. I think I am hooked onto Apple for a long time to come.

I am using this phone for last few months after windows and Android phone. Very smooth operation, occassional feel much faster than used to be in android and windows phone. Charging is very fast, battery life is very good compared to mah capacity.However, surprisingly downloads takes much longer than other phones, I do not know whether due to slow WIFI speed or apple store speed. Can any body suggest reason for the slow downloads. Look finish every thing great. Initially feeling size is bigger for my palm size now started loving it. With original Pierre Cardin leather back cover now feeling much safe to handle.

i have always been a die hard android lover. Talk about custom roms, modded kernels, i hv ripped all in my days. Had a particularly sad experience with my last android. op2. Wanted a device, which was stable, and had a smooth ui. Took the dare, went for iPhone. And man, am i surprised! people can say a tonne of things about iPhones. yes, they are shitty pricey, way more pricey than it should be. But, in the end, the real world performance is what matters, and it shreds it competitors in that dept. If you are not heavy of custom reqrmnts, and just want a phone that simply works and has a mind boggling battery life, please dont look anywhere else. this is the best it can get! Cheers!

Looks and performs really well. This is hands down the best looking phone. The only other phone that comes close is the Oneplus X. There are a lot of one star ratings from people on flipkart, presumably because they are b**thurt that they cant afford this.

Better buy a redmi note 3
